Multiple Disadvantage and Homelessness Courses

This course will increase managers and team leaders’ confidence when supporting their teams with domestic abuse cases in their services.

To support frontline homelessness teams to have the skills and knowledge to write case notes that facilitate a safe response to domestic abuse.

This two-hour training explores cuckooing through a safeguarding and trauma-informed lens, with a particular focus on how women experiencing multiple disadvantage are targeted. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the links between cuckooing, county lines, domestic abuse, and coercive control, as well as the legal frameworks that apply to these situations.

This 2 hour course is for frontline professionals looking to improve their confidence in correctly identifying and responding to survivors and perpetrators of domestic abuse

This training helps participants respond to domestic abuse concerns by sharing information safely, maintaining trust with service users, and challenging gatekeeping by other agencies. It also introduces the use of the DASH Risk Identification Checklist (RIC) with service users experiencing multiple disadvantage.
