Empowering Managers: Navigating Domestic Abuse in the Workplace

This course aims to equip managers with the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills to support staff experiencing domestic abuse, ensure safe workplace practices, and respond to team members raising concerns about their customers. The training promotes a survivor-led, intersectional, and legally informed approach.

Description

This advanced training course is designed for managers who have prior domestic abuse awareness training and need to build the skills required to navigate disclosures of domestic abuse from staff, provide support to employees experiencing abuse, and guide team members who have concerns about their customers. This course integrates legal frameworks, intersectionality, trauma-informed responses, and practical techniques such as motivational interviewing to create a supportive and effective workplace response.

This includes a comfort break, space for questions and time for the delegates to evaluate and reflect after the delivery
